Meet Megan Florence, a real estate expert that is coming over from another brokerage! We are so thankful to have her with us & want to let you get the chance to know her as well!

A Note from Megan –

I am a North Carolina native but a mountain girl at heart. I moved to the Triangle to attend NC State University (go pack!) where I graduated with a degree in Fashion and Textile Management with a concentration in Brand Management and Marketing.

After graduation my dad, a contractor by trade, encouraged me to get my real estate license. Having grown up on the job site and Lowes Home Improvement, I developed a love of real estate and home design. Being a carpenter’s daughter, I grew up around new construction which makes me knowledgeable in all aspects of your home. I also have a background in luxury sales and 7+ years of customer service experience. This, accompanied with my marketing background makes me the perfect person to sell your home with ease or get you into your next home!

I now live in Franklinton with my husband, two golden retrievers, and my cat. Most of the time you will find me decorating, doing something crafty, or taking long walks down the aisles of Target or the local thrift store.

Why Real Estate? I have always had an eye for design and the desire to help people, real estate just seemed to fit perfectly! 

What brought you to the TOR Team? I have been following Taylor on social media for a while and I have admired how she has built and marketed her business. When I saw she was starting a team I knew that I wanted to be a part of it. 

Favorite Part of your job? I love helping people accomplish things that they didn’t believe they could do! 

What did you do before starting real estate? I did Event Operations for the AKC (yes the dog show people), and before that a variety of customer service jobs, my favorite being a bridal consultant!

What 3 items would you bring if you were stuck on a deserted island?  My dogs, a bottle of wine, and a very large cheesecake.
