Not all realtors were created for everyone!
Like in other professions, you’ve truly got to do the research to ensure that you’re working with the person that’s the right fit for you! Some realtors specialize in client experience, some are great with investors, some are key to assisting with rental properties! The key is finding someone that fits what you’re looking for!
Alright, now time for the backstory on why we are including this in our July newsletter!
Kait and I meet weekly to chat through client updates, marketing to do lists, and honestly so much more that goes into the day to day operation of TOR (Taylor Oldham Residential). We got to the fact that we were putting together a list of some Triangle spots to watch the fireworks and then went down a rabbit hole to discussing how much our little fur babies hate the fireworks. We both have to keep our pups calm, because fireworks are a scary time for them! So that’s when our conversation continued to how fireworks aren’t for everyone, there are plenty of people that suffer during fireworks.
While discussing that, we continued to venture into the fact that not all agents are for everyone. And we aren’t the right fit for everyone. We approach real estate differently. We focus on the lifestyle for our buyer clients and highlighting the lifestyle of homes when we go to sell them! We know that a majority of the clients we typically work with are getting a loan and with that it’s a full time job pulling documents together! So, that’s where we step in – our goal is to take as much off our clients’ plate as possible! This means we can coordinate any and all inspections needed, we handle coordinating with vendor partners such as attorney, lender, inspector, insurance, etc! We as a real estate team have vetted many vendors and so we are going to recommend people that we’ve worked with.
With all of that being said, we are also people! Having a team has ensured that our clients will never go without a response, one of us will always be available. Yet, we ask for grace and patience. We do want to ensure we have time with our families as this is our job. We try out best to not show homes on Sundays and then we have our typical business hours during the week. Does that mean we don’t work on weekends? Absolutely NOT! We work on weekends on an appointment basis. Does this mean we don’t work on Sundays? Of course NOT! We are still available via email to answer any urgent matters and if a showing pops up, we can coordinate things as needed!
So, what are we looking for? We are looking for clients that appreciate the above! We are looking for clients that want to have fun! Purchasing a home or selling a home is a full time job and a rollercoaster of emotions. As our mission statement states:
